The First Voyage of Nicholas Feller

Nicholas came for the first time to the U.S.A. in 1856 with his parents and five siblings. They sailed on the Mercury who left port in Havre, France and arrived in New York harbor on October 13th 1856, approximately 30 to 40 days later. From there they traveled and settled in Iowa.

The Second Voyage of Nicholas

The second voyage of Nick Feller was to fetch his wife Madelena Forret. Beneath is a link to the site with the passenger list of the Foederis - Arca from Havre, France to New York in 1862. Look at passenger numbers: 31 and 32 and see their names listed amongst other passengers. (Their names are misspelled as it happened often on account of the different pronunciations.)
